I'm a Perth mechanical engineer and the director of Senger Engineering. Ten years in mechanical engineering: five in heavy industry in Brazil (pipe racks, steel structures, machine guarding and pressure equipment for major food, beverage and metallurgical plants), then five in Western Australia on modular and off-grid eco-tourism structures. What I care about most is design that's genuinely buildable, with drawings a workshop can run with.

From Perth, I work on steel structures, machine systems and custom mechanical equipment across Australia. I take a job the whole way: early concept, the detailed design, and the documentation that actually gets it built.

I like the messy briefs, the ones that aren't fully figured out yet. Every job gets the same thing from me: careful engineering judgement and a practical head for what can actually be made.

A good part of my current work is in modular homes and glamping structures: full general arrangements, walls, floors, decking, cladding and flashing detailed for build.

When a job needs extra hands, I bring in trusted draughters, detailers and fabrication partners, so capacity scales without losing control of the detail.

Every job runs through the same checks and drawing standards, so the quality stays consistent from first concept through to as-built.

This approach combines hands-on engineering expertise with scalable production capability, delivering both precision and pace.
